“Are we there yet?

We were on our way to the MTR to then meet up with Dad’s side relatives for tea… or dim sum.

It had only been a minute after leaving the apartment, yet the sunscreen was already melting off my face. Heat from the bright sun scorched the hand I held against the side of my face.

I also had on sunglasses and a cap but they didn’t seem to do any help. The hat probably trapped all that heat so if I were to take it off, my hair would start to steam. I didn’t take it off.”
